Hello everyone, for this post I'd like to talk about my genuine most favorite educational tool of all time. I sadly only got to experience kahoot all the way into my university education, though it's still better than never experiencing it at all. My eyes would lit up whenever our linguistics professor would open up kahoot and it would show up on the projector. The classroom full of students over 20 years of age would be riled up and energic.

Kahoot is an amazing, fun and competitive game to grasp the attention and liven up your classroom. You can create a series of questions of any topic you like, add up to 4 answers with multiple possible correct ones, add pictures to your questions if needed, and so on. The app also has an energic and rhytmic music that plays along with the time limit. When the time runs shorter, the music gets faster and faster.

Students have limited time to read everything and answer as fast as possible for the maximum points. At the end of it all, the scoreboard comes up, showing the top three of the highest number scoring students.

Hello everyone. Today I used a website called Pixton. This website allows you to create lovely comics featuring you as a teacher and your students. When you first login to the website, you are asked to create your avatar to appear in the classrooms and comics. As you can see in the picture above, I created my avatar as similar as I could. I personally find everything about this website adorable and cute. Every character, facial expressions, the style and all are very nicely done. Everything is very high quality and cartoonish to catch the eye of young learners, but even as an adult I absolutely love it. As a teacher, I find this website to be an amazing instrument to truly make students feel involved in school, classroom and create a friendly, almost family type atmosphere in the classroom. Instead of looking at boring, random names and pictures found on google strapped on the books, the students can see themselves in the scenarios.

Hello everyone. Today I tried to use Canva but failed horribly, but failure is the first step to success! Despite me not performing good enough I can personally see the potential this tool has for teachers and students. As far as I can see it you are able to create presentation type stuff to show. As a teacher, you can use this in a variety of ways in the class, but I personally have an idea that should be especially great for young learners. You can create a colorful page full of the achievements of your students, or a group photo of them to boost their morale and their will to learn.
