I heard about Quizlet for the first time recently and I'm rather impressed with it. I absolutely love the UI(User Interface), how smooth the general appearence and the animations of everything. The entire website is sleek and smooth, with no problems.

The Quizlet I made is a small one that consists of just 5 cards, I used English idioms as a topic and put together 5 different idioms that people commonly use. Students can try to guess their meaning and simply click on the card to reveal the correct answer.

What I created was really simple, but its to just show what it can do. Quizlet has immense potential for teachers who can take it. You can create all sorts of question type stuff to invoke the thought process of students and have them work their way around the words to guess their meaning.

Hello everyone. Today I used a website called Pixton. This website allows you to create lovely comics featuring you as a teacher and your students. When you first login to the website, you are asked to create your avatar to appear in the classrooms and comics. As you can see in the picture above, I created my avatar as similar as I could. I personally find everything about this website adorable and cute. Every character, facial expressions, the style and all are very nicely done. Everything is very high quality and cartoonish to catch the eye of young learners, but even as an adult I absolutely love it. As a teacher, I find this website to be an amazing instrument to truly make students feel involved in school, classroom and create a friendly, almost family type atmosphere in the classroom. Instead of looking at boring, random names and pictures found on google strapped on the books, the students can see themselves in the scenarios.

Hello everyone. Today I tried to use Canva but failed horribly, but failure is the first step to success! Despite me not performing good enough I can personally see the potential this tool has for teachers and students. As far as I can see it you are able to create presentation type stuff to show. As a teacher, you can use this in a variety of ways in the class, but I personally have an idea that should be especially great for young learners. You can create a colorful page full of the achievements of your students, or a group photo of them to boost their morale and their will to learn.
